About company
Established
in 1974, Exodus is a destination management company, which has decades of
experience in organizing adventure tours across several destinations. They
cover over 48 destinations around the world and function on the founding
principle of being adventurous.
Exodus
carefully crafts tours consisting of smaller groups, so as to not have a
negative impact on the local environment of the places they are visiting. This
is a philosophy they take with them around the world and it has helped them
reach some incredible destinations on 500 itineraries. They cover destinations
like Spain, Sri Lanka, Colombia, India, France, Morocco, Italy, South Africa,
Croatia, Iceland, Tanzania, Vietnam, Cuba and many more.
The
company classifies tours based on their purposes and presents them to you in a
format that suits your convenience. Exodus covers walking, cycling, wildlife,
culture, family and polar tours (among many others). This is a specialty that-
when coupled with an option to directly speak to their customers- makes them
ahead of the curve. Not only can you connect to local representatives in your
country (via a local number on the site that varies for different locations),
you can get customized brochures with even the minute details of the trips you
are after.
A
believer in transparency and the community spirit, Exodus also hosts forums you
can check out to get the latest scoop on competitions, events, and trips, along
with discussions on numerous topics. They take customer feedback very
seriously, and keep tweaking their services accordingly.
Responsible
travel is something Exodus travels is very focused on, with only licensed (and locally
experienced) guides under their administration. With around 45 years of
experience in organizing tours, they have an upperhand on even the most active
adventure tours in the world.
The
team members of the company come from various backgrounds such as archaeology,
wildlife guides, overland drivers, mountain leaders, diving and ski specialists
and mountain bike experts, which helps them add on to the experiences of the
adventure tours. They have trips which host various kinds of activities like
cycling, treks, mountain biking, white water rafting zip lining, kayaking,
snorkeling, canoeing, and many more.

Client's Reviews

Murder On Baker Street is not a "pure" escape room, i.e. the objective of the game is not to escape the room, but rather to find the murderer, of course through solving puzzles and riddles as usual but also gathering information on the main suspects. The puzzles are quite interesting and fun and the room design quite well-made. However, the team did struggle to focus between solving the puzzles and collecting the required evidence in order to discover the murderer. Additionally, the room's introduction did somewhat confuse as everyone is assigned with a suspect's personality, which however you are not expected to "use" until the tail end of the game. This did leave the feeling of a disjointed experience, which was well designed, but at parts badly executed. Now that's not to say we did not enjoy this room, in fact we did enjoy it quite a lot, however the negatives I just described did stop us from considering it one of our favourites, hence the 4/5 rating I've assigned here. Not sure if there is anything specific I'd change to make it better and I'm sure that many other teams (ideally slightly experienced ones, since it is quite difficult) will enjoy it exactly as it is, but we never stopped feeling that it was lacking something that'd make this good game an excellent one.

At the same time, we were a little bit worried of having chosen an old game, but it wasn't a problem at all: it's a Great Classic game with a very elaborated storyline and with very smart hints and clues. It was in fact the game where the 3 of us worked better all over the 10 games we played those 3 days of Tour.
We enjoyed a lot this adventure and I'll recommend the visit to anyone that want to know one of the most classic games in Athens, with more than 4 years old and like our master said: her little baby. =)
The master, Vergina, was incredibly friendly and I think to have found someone really passionate about escapism, her work and of course about Poe.
Don't expect lasers and special effects. This is a classy to be enjoyed with an old spirit and a very interesting plot.
* Almost-spoiler alert:
The game is obviously themed upon Edgar Allan Poe and we felt ourselves as true detectives doing a good reasearch about his death.
The game contains some nice surprises and something that has merit for a game this old: good riddles and variety.
Music and ambient was very correct.
We had a very nice chat with Vergina before and after the game, unfortunetly we couldn't stay more because we had to rush into another escape game afterwards.
We'll be back to play the Fortune Teller, I CAN TELL :D
