Zambia Safari Packages Will Excite Even the Most Experienced Safari-goers

If you prefer to explore off the beaten path, the remoteness, variety and size of Zambia’s national parks ensures you find exactly what you’ve been looking for. Zambia holidays are unique in the way adventure seekers can enjoy the landscapes, wetlands, plains and herds of wild animals all to themselves, with no crowds of other safari fans around. Rare or endangered species and their migrations can’t be compared to anything you have seen or will see elsewhere.

Things to do and see in Zambia:

Victoria Falls

The largest waterfall in the world and one of the greatest natural wonders is both Zambia’s and Zimbabwe’s biggest tourist attraction, as the lower portion of the Victoria Falls is on the Zimbabwe side. It never ceases to attract and amaze visitors from all over the world and never fails to impress. Whatever is the reason you want to travel to Zambia, your trip just would not be complete without visiting the spectacular Victoria Falls. Adventure seekers can choose from bungee jumping, whitewater rafting, riverboarding, kayaking and canoeing.

South Luangwa National Park

South Luangwa National Park is Zambia's most popular safari destination. The Luangwa River ensures that lots of hippo and crocodiles can be spotted while herds of wild animals come to drink water. There are over 400 species of birds that flock around. The special kind of thrilling safaris in the Luangwa is walking safaris for tourists accompanied by guides so that you don’t necessarily need a 4WD for seeing Africa’s most vibrant vegetation and wildlife.

Saturday Dutch Market and Sunday Market

If you want to experience Africa’s unique culture, visit Zambia’s largest open-air market to see the arts and crafts brought from Zambia and neighboring countries, to taste different ethnic dishes, to bargain and of course buy something. The smaller Sunday Market takes place every week at the Arcades Shopping Centre in Lusaka.
