Explore the fantastic Garden Route of South Africa!

This short tour from Cape Town takes you though the beautiful shoreline of the Western Cape. Forests and wetlands can be enjoyed in the Garden Routes national parks, while wildlife activity options include visiting an ostrich farm, a penguin colony, a 'Big 5' game park and a cage-dive with a great white shark (booked on request).

Day 1. Cape Town to Cape Agulhas Highlights. Cape Agulhas Light House, South Africa.

Departing Cape Town this morning we travel along the scenic south coast towards the town of Hermanus, renowned as offering the best land based whale watching. We continue on to Cape Agulhas, Africa's southernmost tip and from the harbour we have the option to take a harbour cruise.

We can also experience shark diving today but this must be pre booked

Day 2. Cape Agulhas to Sedgefield Highlights. Garden Route, South Africa.

Onwards through the beautiful rolling fields of the Overberg towards the Garden Route. We enjoy a canoe trip and a hike to a stunning waterfall in the Wilderness National Park before relaxing at our beach front accommodation for the next couple of nights. 3 images Garden Route, South Africa

Day 3. Oudtshoorn Day Trip Highlights. Oudtshoorn, Ostrich Farm, South Africa.

Driving through the Outeniqua Mountains to the Klein Karoo and onwards to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital situated in a beautiful valley between the Outeniqua and Swartberg Mountains.

En route we stop at the Cango Caves and enjoy a guided tour of the cave system before visiting a working ostrich farm before returning to our comfortable accommodation in Sedgefield.

Day 4. Sedgefield to Jeffreys Bay Highlights. Garden Route, South Africa.

We have the morning available for a few different optional activities before continuing our journey along the coast. Stopping at the Bloukrans Bridge we can try the 216m bungy before taking in the scenic beauty of the Tsitsikama National Park on the way to the surfing mecca of Jeffreys Bay. 3 images Garden Route, South Africa

Day 5. Jeffreys Bay or Addo Elephant Park Highlights. Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.

We have two options today.

Either, a day at leisure in Jeffreys Bay to catch some waves or maybe try a surf lesson?

Or, take a game drive in the nearby Addo Elephant Park which has the densest Elephant Population anywhere on earth.

Day 6. Cape Town Highlights. Cape Town, South Africa.

After a final morning on the beach, we travel back to Cape Town. Stopping at an Aloe factory before dropping down the scenic Sir Lowerys Pass with its sweeping views over the Cape Flats to Cape Town.
