Activity Transfers from Tromsø to Malangen Resort

There are two coach transfers daily from Tromsø centre to Malangen Resort, departing at either 10:45 or 18:20 with a journey time of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

Why not spice things up a bit by combining the transfer with a thrilling winter activity. Departing Tromsø at 09:00 you head to Camp Tamok situated in the Tamok valley (journey 75 minutes), where you have a choice of either dog sledding, snowmobiling or a reindeer safari. On each of them you receive full instructions, a hot meal and warm winter clothing. These activities are operated by Lyngsfjord Adventure - full details can be found on our website.

For an even more unique experience you can add a visit to Tromsø Ice Domes, which has two ice bars and a ice restaurant. On arrival here first, you are greeted by a guide who informs you about the construction process for such a creation and serves you a non-alcoholic ice drink followed by a hot meal served in the ice restaurant. Then afterwards head to your chosen activity.

Please note, this transfer option is only available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Please ask our Sales team for more information.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Tromso Fly to Tromso and make your way from the airport to the city centre (not included) for a 2 night stay in one of the central hotels on breakfast basis. Day 2: at leisure Time to explore this small arctic city or join one of the optional winter activities. There are several places of interest to visit within walking distance as well as a good selection of hotels and restaurants. Another attraction is the number of opportunities to get out and explore Tromso's great outdoors, especially on northern lights safaris. Day 3: Tromso - Malangen The day at leisure before a transfer in the early evening at 18.20 from Tromso to Malangen Resort (journey time approx 90 minutes) with the stay based on a 3-course half board basis on both nights. Take time to check-in and enjoy the evening meal, getting acquainted with the surroundings. Triglav summiting or how to tame Goldenhorn

Triglav is the Slovenia’s highest mountain, featuring three peaks with the highest one reaching 2864 meters. According to one of the legends, there was a magical Goldenhorn inhabiting the Triglav Mountains. The horns of the mysterious creature were made of gold and would make anyone who caught Goldenhorn forever rich. The Goldenhorn was never caught due to its artfulness in escaping from the chasers, even when injured. The magic power of Goldenhorn was hidden in a divine flower protecting him from deathly wounds.
