Fun and exploration in sunny Spain

Andalucia is the intense, passionate and sensuous soul of Spain. Everything about it—its architecture, food, language and music—are unforgettable because they were born out of mixed roots and the collision of cultures. Catholic, Moorish, Jewish, folk and Gypsy worlds swirled together for centuries to create something unique… something that is, as Federico Garcia Lorca might say, deeply alive.

Day by Day

Buen provecho! After settling in to your hotel, enjoy a bike tour of Seville with your guide, who will bring one of Spain’s most beautiful cities to life with fascinating stories and intriguing anecdotes.

Hit the paddle tennis courts for a proper introduction to the game that is all the rage in Spain. Before a tapas lunch, enjoy a private cruise on the Guadalquivir River and learn stories of the witches who taken by river to the San Jorge Castle. Later, meet up with a local Flamenco troop who will school you in all things Flamenco.

Head deeper into the heart of the old Moorish Empire of Andalucia, and closer to Granada and Spain’s highest mountain, Mulhacen. Later, explore a couple of pueblos blancos before starting your walk along the mountain paths.

This morning you'll adventure to the Pileta Caves, filled with ancient artwork dating back 20,000 years. Later you will visit a bull farm and learn all about the Spanish tradition of bullfighting.

Today you'll head towards Granada, stopping at the El Torcal visitors centre, perched high up in an abrupt karstic mountain range. In the afternoon you'll enjoy a private cooking demonstration with our friend Nadine in her Albaicín house. Watch and participate with Nadine as she rustles up some great dishes for you to enjoy for dinner.

Say goodbye to the Sierra’s today! At the agreed upon time you will be driven to the airport for connecting flights home. Adios!
