Bienvenue en Bourgogne

Burgundy is vintage B&R territory—a place renowned for its culinary traditions, celebrated wines and rich history. With our European headquarters based in Beaune, Burgundy for us is literally home terrain. Thousands of miles of peaceful, paved roads await your exploration, and our guides are well acquainted with how best to stay off the beaten track when traversing this stunningly varied landscape. We’ll lead you to the top of the gorgeous Hautes Côtes, uncork the splendid vintages from French wine’s ancestral home, and bed down in the region’s most exclusive hotel: the Abbaye de la Bussière. In sum, it’s pure pleasure!

Day by Day

Bienvenue en Bourgogne! After a rendezvous at your hotel, we'll begin our first ride at the Côtes de Nuits. Ride along the Saône River plain to the village of Vougeot and pedal by renowned vineyards before a delightful first-day lunch.

Choose from a double of different rides around the medieval town of Beaune, which will be yours to explore after lunch. Before dinner, you'll meet our local guide who will impress you with her deep knowledge and passion for all things Burgundian.

Cycle through the picturesque villages of La Rochepot, Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay and Pommard. You'll stop for a fantastic lunch at the Michelin-starred wine appellation, Le Montrachet.

Bike the diverse terrain surrounding the Ouche Valley, meandering country roads and passing villages. For lunch, you'll picnic in the gardens of the Abbey de la Bussiere, your 12th century home for the next two nights.

Ride next to the quiet and flat Canal de Bourgogne and to the magnificent Châteauneuf–rated one of the most beautiful village of France–or challenge yourself with a beautiful and rewarding century ride. Tonight you'll enjoy cocktails and dinner with your guide to celebrate your successful Burgundian voyage!

This morning, after breakfast at the abbey, you’ll head off to the Gare de Dijon-Ville train station, where you can catch a train to Paris or beyond. Bon voyage!
