Even with its vigorous economic growth, Vietnam is as charming, picturesque and wondrous as the first time we cycled here more than a decade ago. Certainly, the country is thriving, but that just means the roads are a bit better (making our bikes a little happier), and even more luxurious hotels pepper the coast. But the people remain the same: gracious, warm, and infinitely inviting—and we certainly meet a lot of them on this epic journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. In between, we take in all the highlights, from China Beach to the Imperial tombs to endless miles of scenic, colourful country and coastal roads.

Discover the historic architecture, tree-lined boulevards and delightfully chaotic street-life of Vietnam’s capital city in a traditionally Vietnamese way: on cyclo (bike-propelled cart). Enjoy a guided visit, covering everything from the city’s French colonial architecture to winding streets around the city's famed lake.
Today we fly to Hue: the Imperial capital of Vietnam. Here, take a picture-perfect introduction ride and walk viewing some of the most beautiful scenery central Vietnam has to offer. Enjoy cocktails and a dinner of local specialties tonight at the hotel.
Ride through quiet rice fields and over small riverside paths before ending at the Thien Mu Pagoda. From here, we will head to a private home for a magical lunch. Dinner is back in town at a charming restaurant with a French twist.
In the morning, we head south for the ride, passing many fishing villages and exploring some quiet, seldom used roads along the way. We will stop for a ‘local’ lunch on route and check into our beachside hotel early for an afternoon of R&R on this beautiful beach.
Begin the day with a spectacular drive along coast and cliffs and then cycle through the countryside and into the amazing UNESCO World Heritage credited town of Hoi An. After exploring the tailors, shoe makers, spas and local jewelers of Hoi An, we’ll meet at our friend Duc’s restaurant for a tasting of Vietnam’s best fusion cuisine.
Head into the market to watch the women haggle over the day’s fresh fish catch. Ride around Hoi An, passing through traditional rice paddies interspersed with ancestral tombs, water buffalo and hundreds of smiling children. Finish at our favourite cooking school in a beautiful river setting.
Witness Buddhist monks making their way to prayer as we make our way up Thuy Son (Water Mountain) to discover hidden grottos filled with places of worship. After a quick flight to Saigon, we’ll be whisked to the hotel on the back of motorbikes where you’ll have plenty of time to freshen up before our motorbike tour of town.
Today, we explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels, created to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps throughout the American war. Tonight, your guide will take you to their favorite market style restaurant for dinner.
On our last day in Vietnam we will arrange to take you to the airport for your flight home.Show All Days VIEW MAP CLOSE Want to see a full
