Marvel at Morocco's stunning beauty

Morocco is one of our oldest friends—the land, in fact, where the idea of a B&R “Expedition” was born. We saw a foreign, exotic, stunning country that lent itself beautifully to our penchant for exploration, and knew we absolutely had to introduce B&R travellers to it. Despite its convenient proximity to Europe, we knew our travellers may only come once. With that in mind, we give you the best of Morocco: High Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, stunning oases, fabulous food and the incredible city of Marrakech.

Trip designed by Travel Expert Orsolya Kako

Day by Day

Meet your guide at the airport and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains for your stay at one of Morocco's most luxurious retreats. Enjoy your first mint tea in the beautiful gardens as you overlook Mt. Toubkal, Morocco’s highest snow-covered peak.

After breakfast, set out on a hike up to the tiny and remote Berber villages, perched high above the valley at the base of Jbel Toubkal. A picnic lunch today offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys below. Back at the Kasbah Tamadot, relax with an argan oil massage or a hammam in their beautiful spa.

Embark on a stunning ride back towards Marrakech stopping at the Agafay Desert at La Pause, a luxury retreat in the desert. Experience a camel ride in the desert and dine in true desert fashion, under the stars and the Berber tents - a night to remember!

Tour the most interesting local souks (markets), palaces, gardens and monuments. See the Djemaa el-Fna, a carnivalesque public square where snake charmers, magicians and storytellers compete for an audience. Marrakech is a wonderful city to explore!

Visit the Marrakech market, where locals sell their home-grown goods and food. Learn from a well-known chef how to make some delicious Moroccan dishes such as couscous and b'stila, tagines and a myriad of salads. After lunch continue your explorations of the medina with your excellent local guide.

Enjoy your morning at leisure until it is time to drive to the Marrakech airport in time for check-in for your flight home.
