From the North Shore to Waikiki Beach

On this Oahu adventure, experience the classics these islands are most-known for, then let us give you a taste of the real Hawaii. Begin along the North Shore, where you’ll spend your days kayaking, snorkelling, and soaking in the sun at your gorgeous beachside resort. Catch the perfect wave at one of Oahu’s many iconic surf beaches (with the help of your seasoned instructor, of course), then take in 360° views from above as you soar through the skies on a 1/2 mile-long zip line. Complete your journey with a stay at Waikiki Beach’s iconic Royal Hawaiian hotel and an unforgettable hike up Diamond Head volcano.

Note: While there have been some recent eruptions of Mount Kilauea on the island of Hawaii, Butterfield & Robinson trips are currently unaffected by these events. We continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of our travellers and guides. Our Travel Advisors are here to answer any of your questions at 1-866-551-9090.

Day by Day

Check in at your beachside hotel and spend the afternoon enjoying the ocean before joining your guide for a “welcome to paradise” dinner.

Hike through Kualoa's beautiful valley (you may recognize the soaring green terrain from the Jurassic Park movies). Then, jump in your kayaks for a paddle from Kāneʻohe Bay to Mokoliʻi Island—a great place for snorkelling.

It's time for a surf lesson! Spend the day in the capable hands of your instructor, who will teach you the ins and outs of this historic Hawaiian sport. Tonight, enjoying some beach time or take a walk through the jungle.

Ride ATVs to the scenic start of your zip line adventure—soar through the skies, soaking in the 360° views of the North Shore. Take advantage of the resort activities this afternoon or settle into a shady hammock with a good book.

Hike the legendary Valley of the Priests, then cool off in the gorgeous waterfall at the end of the trail. Enjoy dinner in town this evening—be sure to get your fill of fresh fruit!

Check out Waikiki Beach and the vibrant shopping district before embarking on a guided hike up the famed Diamond Head volcano. Bid farewell to Hawaii with dinner and Mai-Tais by the beach this evening.

After breakfast, you can take one last beach walk or swim before check-out. Your guide will bring you to the airport in plenty of time to catch your flights back home. Aloha and mahalo!
