Day by Day

Arrive in Perth, home to the most sunny days per-year of all the Australian state capitals! Enjoy the vibrance of the city before an early night and well-deserved rest after your travels.

Get ready to take on the stunning Cape to Cape Track hike in the beautiful Margaret River region. Over the next four days you'll explore some of the most picturesque portions of this walk alongside your expert guides. Stop along your walk today to cool off with a dip in a crystal clear secluded rock pool - a local favourite!

Your 14 km trek today takes in several popular surf beaches, stunning clifftop vistas and the impressive Sugarloaf Rock. This evening, you'll be treated to a private didgeridoo performance in Ngilgi Cave by one of the region’s Traditional Owners.

Experience what is argued as the most stunning section of the Cape to Cape Track on today's 13 km stroll. Take the trail at your own pace, admiring the pristine white sand beaches, limestone cliffs and towering forests of beautiful Karri trees. Dinner tonight is accompanied by fresh local produce and wine.

Today's 8 km journey brings you from Moses Rock to the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs. Reward yourself with a four-course lunch and matched vino at a local winery, toasting to your final day on the west coast.

Head south to one of Australia’s oldest and most famous wine regions, the Barossa Valley. Spend the day exploring your surroundings and perhaps stop in for dinner at the Appelation, the hotel's fine dining restaurant.

Today, you'll be treated to a full-day private tour of the lovely Barossa Valley by your local host. Visit big-name wineries, or let your guide take you to the smaller, boutique wineries to find the hidden gems.

Continue north to the Clare Valley and into the Outback for some downtime at the Arkaba Station homestead - positioned on the edge of the hauntingly beautiful Flinders Ranges. Spend the evening, wine in-hand, watching as the sun sets over the stunning Wilpena Pound amphitheater.

Explore the station today with your naturalist guides. Discover the gorges and valleys of the Flinders Ranges, keeping an eye out for some unique wildlife! Tonight's dinner involves fabulous local fare and is, of course, accompanied by some sensational South Australian wines.

Hop on a private charter flight to Kangaroo Island this morning, taking in the incredible spectacle of Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges from the air. Stand in awe as you arrive at Southern Ocean Lodge, soaking in the views of cliff top vistas over the Southern Ocean towards Antarctica.

This morning, your local host will give you a further introduction to life on the island. There will be plenty of opportunity for wildlife sightings, including wallabies, kangaroos and some sleepy koalas. After a rustic lunch in the bush, visit a fur seal colony at Cape du Couedic before setting out on a private 4x4 tour.

Go for a scenic drive in search of koalas feeding in the eucalyptus trees. Walk through the bushland of Lathami Conservation Park, looking for tracks and listening for birds. Later, head to Seal Bay Conservation Park to walk amongst the sea lions playing in the surf.

This morning, a one-hour road trip to Kingscote will connect you with your flight to Adelaide, and onward to your next destination.
