Pedalling through olive groves, meandering whitewashed towns and sampling delicious food paired with superior hospitality all play a part in this delightful trip through idyllic Puglia, a region that captures the true magic of old Italy. The history, landscape and architecture reflect the myriad civilizations that were drawn to the area and its important port towns on the Adriatic: the Greeks, Romans, Venetians, Normans and Spanish all having left their mark. Our bike routes travel sublime coastal roads, quiet country paths that pass by fortified farms and through a village of distinctive stone trulli, while the culinary highlights include fresh seafood, robust wines and market-fresh produce drizzled with local olive oil.
