Today's bike route features gorgeous views of the region. Cycle through idyllic landscapes toward the Villa Vinea winery for a tasting and a delicious picnic.
Visit the Saxon village of Malancrav and learn about the region's specialty in embroidery and traditional wickerwork. Tonight, explore the streets of UNESCO World Heritage town, Sighisoara.
Arrive in Viscri (yet another World Heritage site). Visit the traditional bakery, the brickyard and the 13thC fortified church in town. This afternoon, challenge yourself with a beautiful ride to Talisoara, where we'll settle in at Daniel Castle for a couple of nights.
Pay a visit to the local blacksmith, then cycle toward Miclosoara, where you'll stop at the medieval castle of Count Kalnoky. After lunch, there's an extra loop option to visit the Vargyas gorge before arriving back in Talisoara.
Enjoy breakfast at Daniel Castle and return to Bucharest, stopping in the mountain town of Sinaia to visit Peles castle along the way. Bon Voyage!
