Sicily has long extended a welcoming hand to visitors throughout the ages. It is a cultural crossroads where Greeks and Romans, Phoenicians and Arabs, French and Spanish civilizations have all left their mark over the centuries-artistically, architecturally and gastronomically. Our journey focuses on travelling through the southern side of the island starting in splendid Siracusa, visiting the baroque towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli and across the Val di Noto. During our explorations, we are rewarded with an exclusive gourmet experience and immersion in local gastronomy. The entire experience is pure indulgence for the senses: admire the island’s rich culture, savour fresh seafood, handmade pasta, arancini, pasta with sardines, and caponata, and enjoy the wine journey around the finest vineyards in Sicily.

Welcome to Sicily! After meeting your guide at your hotel, you'll get an introduction to the nearby gentle rolling hills, speckled with olive groves. Lunch will be at a family-run farm that specializes in cheese produced with goat's milk.
Ride through the Plemmirio nature reserve, then enjoy the afternoon snorkelling and swimming among the panoramic views of Siracusa Bay.
You'll bike the beautiful countryside to Palazzolo Acreide, another fantastic UNESCO World Heritage site, home to many important Baroque churches and buildings. Stop here for a magnificent lunch with our friend Andrea, where he’ll delight your palate with some fantastic local ingredients.
Ride downhill through the breathtaking Monti Iblei Valley and Scicli, a late Baroque town made famous thanks to the detective series Montalbano often filmed here. This afternoon, make a stop in Sampieri for a fresh seafood lunch along the coast.
Visit the Planeta family at their 51-hectare Buonivini wine estate. Stroll through the vineyards and visit the “invisible wine cellar” before taking part in a memorable wine tasting and bountiful picnic in the garden.
By day you'll ride to the "Isola delle correnti” (Isle of Currents) for a dip in the sea followed by a fresh fish lunch. By night, you'll visit the splendid floor mosaics of Villa Romana del Tellaro.
After a farewell breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be driven to the Catania airport in time for your flight.
