Fly to Chiang Rai this morning (not to be confused with Chiang Mai!). Take a walk through the surrounding tea plantations and around the scenic mountain lake bordered by emerald fields and forest growth.
Ride through beautiful valleys, mountain temples and visit a monk's cave! Enjoy lunch riverside then journey back to Chiang Rai by traditional long tail boat down the tree-lined river. After dinner tonight explore the night bazaar, an authentic night market full of priceless finds!
This morning head to Chiang Seng in Thailand's famous Golden Triangle. Begin with a riverside ride then enjoy a local style lunch before riding over into Laos where we'll visit the Hall of Opium, a museum which looks at the 5000 year trade of one of the world's most illicit crops.
Visit one of Thailand's most beautiful destinations, Doi Mae Salong. Embark on a nature hike through terraced tea and rice plantations and up through the rolling mountains around the area.
Transfer to Chiang Rai airport for your international flight home through Bangkok.
