Travel to this remote part of Greenland, reached by internal flight and then helicopter. Stay for two nights in Tasiilaq and one night in Kulusk. Optional activities include city walk of Tasiilaq,
a hike to View Point, an iceberg cruise, boat trip to the village of Ikateq and helicopter flight to the Mitivagkat Glacier.

Day 1
Air Iceland flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Kulusuk. Further on by Air Greenland helicopter to Tasiilaq. Meet and greet by a guide (or local representative outside high season) and transfer
to the nearby Hotel Angmagssalik for check-in and information meeting. Afternoon at leisure in Tasiilaq. Optional excursions during stay in Tasiilaq include:
City Walk of Tasiilaq/Ammassalik - The walk takes you through the old colonial part of town, which is now the city centre and we visit the museum located in the old church. The
harbour, hospital and new school tell the story of a society that contains both history and modernity. Duration: 2½ hours approx. Prices from £28 per person
Walk to "The Valley of Flowers" - Guided walking tour/easy hike in slow pace passing the cemetery behind the town and heading towards waterfall just outside town. Duration: 2½

Hike to View Point - Guided hiking tour in the backcountry of Tasiilaq. The rough but beautiful nature of Greenland reveals itself as the walk takes us up in the hills, along
lakes and mountain rivers. Marvellous view over the area including the ice filled sea. The guide will serve coffee/tea. Duration: 4-5 hours approx. Prices from £56 per person
Iceberg Cruise" boat tour - Short sailing tour around the icebergs in the fiords outside of Tasiilaq. A perfect opportunity to see the ice in all its shapes and colours. A must
for the photographer. Duration: 2 hours approx. Prices from £56 per person.
Boat trip to the Village of Ikateq - The cruise takes you right into the ice filled Sermilik fiord to the deserted settlement Ikateq where hunters were living until a few years
ago. After a stroll around the village a meal will be served on the boat before returning to Tasiilaq. Actual route is depending on the ice situation. Duration: 5 hours approx. Prices from £84 per

Day 2
Breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Day at leisure in Tasiilaq for optional excursions (see above). Evening dinner is at the hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Transfer to the heliport. Air Greenland helicopter flight to Kulusuk and transfer to Hotel Kulusuk. Optional excursions during the stay in Kulusuk:
Easy Hike to the Village of Kap Dan - Walk from Kulusuk to Kap Dan passing the cemetery to learn about traditions and continue up to a view point to overlook the village before
descending to Kap Dan to experience the daily life in a Greenlandic settlement. Walk back to the hotel. Duration: 3 hours approx. Prices from £28 per person
Drive up the mountain to View Point - Drive from the hotel along a mountain track to a radio station on a mountaintop overlooking the Arctic Ocean and the Kulusuk Island.

Hiking to the ruins of the mysterious hunting wall - Easy hike from your hotel to the lake. You will cross the river and walk into the marchland to the Big Stone, which the local
hunters have used to spot their prey for centuries. Close by you will find the remains of an ancient wall which was used to trap the wild life. This wall is believed to date back several hundreds of
years. After refreshment stop go in search for an old hunter’s grave and also the old prayer stone, which was used to contact the ancient Inuit gods. The guide will tell you about Inuit beliefs and
religious traditions to help bring this special place to life. Duration: 4 hours approx. Prices from £64 per person including coffee/tea Dinner in the evening is at the hotel.
