Combined with clear cold nights, Yellowknife’s favourable geographic location makes it one of the best places in the world for Aurora viewing. From Beck’s Kennels Cabin, located a few miles outside the city, guests enjoy spectacular displays of Northern Lights. This holiday includes 3 nights Aurora Viewing, exploring the natural wonder of the Aurora from a warm cabin, returning to your hotel in Yellowknife to sleep. Alternatively, you can choose to spend the entire night at the cabin as bunks are available and dinner and breakfast can be included (you could do this for one or all three nights). During daylight hours optional activities include dog sled rides, a city tour, snowshoeing, Aboriginal Ice Fishing Demonstrations and bison viewing. If you wish to extend your stay you can take a 4 day/3 night dog sled expedition staying in prospector tents, cabins and lodges.
