Day 01 : Arrival at Paro (2,250m) - Thimphu (2,350m)
Arrive at Paro where you will be met by your guide and transfer to Paro for lunch. Then drive to Thimphu for about an hour. In Thimphu, visit Buddha’s Point, King Memorial Chorten, Farmer’s Market, Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong etc. Afterwards, return back to hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Paro.
Day 02 : Thimphu - Punakha (1,310m)
After breakfast, drive to Punakha crossing over the Dochula pass (3140m) from where majestic Himalayan views can be spotted in a clear day. Further, drive to Punakha,en-route take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to Drukpa Kunley. Finally arrive Punakha, check-in hotel. Overnight in Hotel in Thimphu.
Day 03 : Punakha - Haa Valley (2,740m) - Paro (2,250m)
Drive to Paro, en-route visiting the Haa Valley (2740m) and crossing over Chelela pass (3899 m) to reach Haa. From the pass, enjoy great Himalayan view and the valley beyond. Haa is made up of five counties and opened for tourism only from 2002. Aferwards, drive to Paro. Overnight in Hotel in Thimphu.
Day 04 : Paro - Hike to Taktsang Monastery 'Tiger's Nest' (3,120m)
Today, drive to the base of Taktsang and hike up hill to the monastery. Two hours hike will reach the cafeteria from where enjoy spectacular view of the monastery then further hike will reach the monastery. It’s believed Guru Padmasambhava came here on a back of flying tigress from Tibet in 8th century and meditated. Later on the monastery was built which is perched on a vertical cliff defying all engineering logics. Then re-trace the same route back to the road-point. Also visit Kychu Lhakhang - the oldest shrine in Bhutan and Paro Ringpond Dzong today. Overnight in Hotel in Paro.
Day 05 : Paro - Departure
Early breakfast, drive to Paro Airport and bit farewell to Dragon Kingdom to catch your onward flight.
