View Marianne’s ProfileMake your way to Canmore, a cute mountain town located one hour west of Calgary and nestled in the Rockies. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely ride on the rolling terrain of the Legacy Trail, a paved bike path that connects Canmore to Banff.
Ride down to Lake Minnewanka and carry on further north along the lakeshore trail, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. After your ride, ease your worked muscles with a soak at the Sulphur Mountain Hot Springs.
Cycle along the river to the famous Lake Louise, keeping your eyes open for the wildlife you’re likely to spot along the way. Dinner tonight is in the town of Field at a cozy bistro favourited by locals.
Visit Yoho National Park and hike not one but two of the spectacular waterfalls of the area. This evening, you can opt to take out one of your lodge’s canoes for a twilight paddle on Emerald Lake.
Walk a winding mountain road leading to Moraine Lake and marvel at its brilliant blue-green, glacier-fed waters. After a hearty lakeside lunch, hike up to Sentinel Pass for some hard-earned stunning vistas.
