Step back in time

Located in the heart of the Middle East, the tiny Kingdom of Jordan is full of big surprises. Home of many of the most important Christian sites in the world, its rich and varied history make for a land that has countless stories to share. Explore the famous site of Petra and weave your way through its narrow canyons and colourful sandstone. Dine on authentic Bedouin cuisine cooked all day under the sands of Wadi Rum. Float 1350 feet below sea level in the dead sea. By the end of your voyage, you will have discovered culturally, historically, and geographically the wonders of Jordan.

Day by Day

Feast your eyes on intricate Byzantine mosaics in the market town of Madaba and lunch at the famous Haret Jdoudna. Follow in Moses’ footsteps and venture up the sacred Mount Nebo in search of the Promised Land.

Journey south to the Wadi Mudjib and go for a float in the Dead Sea followed by a hike through a canyon adorned with ponds and rivers. Head north up the Jordan River to the baptism site of Al-Maghtas.

Follow the King’s Highway to the Grand Canyon of Jordan, Wadi Dana. Stop for a traditional maglouba lunch, then continue to the Dana Biosphere Reserve for a hike and a lesson in the traditions of the local tribe.

Venture out on the mystifying Wadi Ghweir, a sacred path that was once the hidden trail to Petra. Enjoy a Bedouin-style picnic lunch along your way, complete with sweet tea and freshly baked bread.

Uncover the secrets of ancient Petra with your local guide and discover the magnificent Al-Deir monastery. Hike through the Sharah Mountains for stunning views of the Rift valley below.

Enter the main gate of Petra and wind your way through the siq pathway ending at the famous Al-Khazna, also known as the Treasury. Explore the canyon to discover other gems such as the amphitheatre and the Royal Tombs.

Experience the true meaning of Arabian Nights as you camp in the desert of Wadi Rum. Motor past the red dunes and granite with a local Bedouin before you dine on a classic zerb dinner.

After a breakfast, we'll bring you back to Amman airport for your departing flight or back to the city centre. You may choose to extend your stay for a day or two in the coastal town of Aqaba enjoying the cosmopolitan atmosphere.
