Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Make your own way to Arusha ready to depart by 1400 hours.  Afternoon join seat in vehicle safari and depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the journey up through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley with stunning views over the distant Lake Manyara.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park. Continue with game drive en route to the lodge arriving for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park.

Known locally by its Maasai name, ‘Siringitu’ – the place where the land runs on forever – Tanzania’s oldest park was created to preserve the path of the world’s largest migration circuit. Today, it is ultimate safari country, with rolling plains home to a spectacular array of wildlife.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you depart with game viewing en route as you drive south to the exit gate of Serengeti and continue to Ngorongoro.  Stop en route for a picnic lunch. You then continue towards Ngorongoro where you visit a Masai Village before your final journey to your lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater

A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience.  A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small lake populated with hippos.  You return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park

Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and head south east en route to Lake Manyara, Mto wa Mbu village and Tarangire beyond. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you’ll view the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations here before journeying down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south on to the main Arusha – Dodoma road and into the park. From here to the lodge, you enjoy a game drive en route. After lunch the remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive within the park.

Day 7
Tarangire National Park – Arusha - Zanzibar

Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha arriving by Midday in time for lunch. Following lunch in Arusha, you will be transferred to Arusha (or Kilimanjaro) airport for your scheduled Zanair flight to Zanzibar ETD 1330 hrs ETA 1510 hrs (Booked by Safarihub). On arrival, meet and greet followed by transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Day 8

Transfer (time to be arranged locally) to your Beach Hotel on the Coast of Zanzibar. You have the next 4 days / 3 nights at leisure at one of the most popular resort in Zanzibar.

Situated along the pristine beach of Bwejuu amid landscaped gardens of whispering palms, you will find your terraced room or suite tastefully decorated in ivory tones with teak wood finishes and Zanzibar carvings. All rooms are fully aircondiioned with ensuite bathrooms, refrigerator and a personal electric safe box and hairdryer. Experience the Sultan’s Bath in the Frangipani Spa, soak in scented oils and water strewn with exotic flowers before a pampering massage. Try a fusion of Indian and Swahili spices at The Sultan’s Table. Stroll for miles on a white sandy beach and enjoy an excellent variety of watersports.

Day 9

Spend the day relaxing at the beach.

Zanzibar holidays conjure up images of exploration on an exotic island filled with mystery and intrigue. As a result of passing traders that explored this route, Zanzibar has also become known as the ‘Spice Island’ and has a rich cultural history.

Day 10

Exploring the labyrinth of narrow streets winding through the main Stone Town, and finding many of the traditional spices in tucked-away markets  is a must for any Zanzibar holiday. This fascinating town has amazing architecture with its Arabic, African and European influences most notably through the huge, ornately carved wooden doors. The coastal waters attract divers from all over the world whilst the white sand beaches are the place to sit and relax after a safari, another highlight of a Zanzibar holiday with Safarihub.

Day 11
Depart Zanzibar

Transfer to Zanzibar airport for your onward arrangements.
