You will be surprised to see our little airport but what matters is affection and benevolence and that’s what you will get from our hospitality. We will be eagerly waiting for your arrival and soon we will be escorting you to our office for the briefing of the trekking. Then you will check-in at the hotel and after short rest we will gather for a fine dining.
Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu is cultural and historical capital of Nepal; many places here symbolize art, history, architecture, and culture of Nepalese tradition. Preparation, Briefings, Last minute shopping and formalities will be done today.
Flight to Lukla (2800m) is considered world’s most dangerous air trip, however safety measures are taken by the airlines to make sure that no harm may touch the passengers. After reaching Lukla, we trek to the beaten track, up through thinning forest to the grazing area of Chutanga (3050m)
Today we set our feet for Thuli Kharka (4320mm). We will walk mostly uphill to cross the Zatrwa La (4600m) and from Zatrwa we descend to Thuli Kharka (4320m). Thuli Kharka means open pasture land which is above the Hinku valley. This is a tough day for us but will help acclimatizing our bodies to higher altitude.
Leaving Thuli Kharka we descend cross three ridges, before dropping steeply down to the Hinku River. After that we ascend uphill to Kothe (3600m). Overnight at Kothe.
We leave kothe behind and turn west side of the Hinku River. The trail passes via the Yak herders' Following summer settlement of Gondishung and its Buddhist shrine to Thangna. Overnight at Thangna (4350m).
This is the Acclimatization day. Acclimatization is mandatory for our bodies to adjust to the thinning air of higher altitude. We spend the day with exploring the Thangna. In the morning we will hike above to camps for the stunning views of Mera La. We descend back and take deep rest for tomorrow strenuous trek.
After spending good time at Thangna, we hit the trail again and ascend an ablation valley beside the Dig Glacier to Khare (5000m), this is also called base camp area for Mera Peak. Overnight at Khare.
We will need a spare day again for the acclimatization. But in this day we will do training from the skilled expedition leader. The leader will teach you the valuable skills that are required to survive and climb in Mera Peak. Training will uplift your confidence to win over the Mera Peak.
We give our ascent the continuous towards the North flank of Mera Peak to a spectacular eye nestled below a rocky outcropping on the ridge. We reach High Camp (5800m) and stay the overnight.
This is the day we have been travelling on foot for so many days; today we attempt to scale the Magnificent Mera Peak. We make the technically straightforward ascent of Mera Peak. Upon reaching the summit view includes 5 of the World's 6 highest mountains. After the brave climb to the top of the peak we descent to the Khare and rest with the mind full of memories that will last for the lifetime.
After concurring Mera Peak we descend to Thangna (4350m). This is a short and relatively easy hike of descent. From Thangna we descend to Kothe (3600m) and spend overnight.
Today we climb uphill again to reach Thuli Kharka (4300m) below the Zatwra La.
This is the last day of trek and say farewell to the mountains from Lukla. Tomorrow we take flight to the Kathmandu.
We fly for Kathmandu and take escort you to the hotel. In the evening, we visit the most important Hindu Shrine: the “Pashupatinath”. After the spiritual chants, we escort you to the hotel again.
You’ll visit couple of Hindu and Buddhist Shrines. We will make sure that you don’t miss out any important place in the city to make a complete Nepal experience. We’ll probably have some energy left for shopping.
Depending on the flight schedule, we can grab some snacks together and our team representative will come to the airport to see you off.
