After breakfast proceed towards your next destination, Tarangire National Park, a quiet and scenic park with giant baobab trees and the park has some of the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire River attracts wide variety and concentration of migratory animal including elephant, wildebeest, zebra, eland and oryx. Tarangire is also a bird lovers’ paradise, with about 450 species.

Perched on the top of a massive granitic rock, the camp has a privileged location within Tarangire National Park. All 16 tents are equipped with large & comfortable beds, a lovely terrace overlooking the park & the lakes in a far distance, en-suite bathroom with hot shower (provided via solar panels) and flush toilet. This relatively small wilderness reserve was named after the alkaline lake filled with thousands of flamingos roaming the banks for food and hippos bathing in the waters. However the most famous inhabitants of this park are the tree-climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the park. In afternoon, you will proceed towards your next destination, the Ngorongoro Highlands.

At the Ngorongoro Farm House you will live the legendary atmosphere of past times on a colonial style coffee plantation farm house. Hand plaited thatched roof tops, ample verandas and colonial interiors at Ngorongoro Farm House, a small and exclusive hotel built on a 500 acre coffee plantation, all of which has been designed to take you to the comfort and style of past times. Take a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relax in the fragrant gardens, have a swim in the pool or enjoy the spectacular sunsets with the Oldeani volcano as a backcloth.
After breakfast, departure and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will visit the Olduvai Gorge, it was here that Louis and Mary Leakey found early human fossils back in 1959. Enjoy a picnic lunch box. Drive through the Ngorongoro plains and Serengeti Park enjoying a game drive en-route to the Grumeti Game Reserve, a protected and very substantial wildlife reserve which is essentially an extension of the Serengeti. There is a good deal of resident wildlife year round, notably good populations of giraffes, zebras, impalas, elephants and lions. Safari camps here are free to offer night vehicle safari and walking safaris, which are generally not possible inside Serengeti National Park main reserve area and a stay out here at the end of a safari can make for a very nice change of pace. A night game drive & a walking safari are included during your stay at the camp.

The Grumeti Hills Camp is built on the highest hill in the area with a breathtaking view of the surroundings. With 16 comfortable en-suite safari tents, each tent has its own terrace. The camp is eco-friendly with 24-Hour Solar Power. The main area opens onto a large terrace with views over the plain which stretches at the foot of the hill. Most of the year this grassy plain is home to a rich and varied fauna. The swimming pool is carved into the rocks, (equipped with an eco-friendly water filtering system) it’s the guests’ favorite spot after a long dusty day in search of the big five.
After breakfast, departure to the western part of the Serengeti. From May to early July, the great migration of wildebeest and zebra converges to this remote and unique part of the famous Serengeti (Western Corridor). Two days will be spent exploring the Serengeti ecosystem, following conditions and the movement of game.

Mbalageti Tented Lodge Serengeti is located in the western corridor of the Serengeti offering a breathtaking 360-dgree panorama view of the Serengeti Plain lands and the Mbalageti River, where one of the main attractions is the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. The Tented Chalets are situated 12 each on either the Sunrise or Sunset side of the hill and are semi- tented with a back wall of local rock and wooden floor. Decorated with a true ‘bush theme’, the Tented Chalets provide guests a real safari living experience and contain both shower and bathtub.
A full day of game viewing split between Serengeti and Ngorongoro plains. A nice drive among changing landscapes, punctuated with some encounters. Enjoy a picnic lunch box and proceed in the afternoon towards your lodge located along the east side of the Ngorongoro crater rim.

The Ngorongoro Sopa lodge has the most magnificent views over the crater floor. Its position on the Eastern rim allows the most spectacular and uninterrupted views of the sunset as well as quick access to the crater.
Leaving early in the morning and taking a picnic lunch with you, you will spend most of the day game driving on the floor of the crater. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering-holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. Covering an area of 259 sq.kms and standing at 2236m above sea level, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World. Spend a whole day exploring the caldera with picnic lunch break at Ngoitokitok Springs. Following the crater safari you will visit a Masai Village nearby the lodge to learn about the Masai people’s traditions and way of life.|

Enjoy a second game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Leaving early in the morning and taking a picnic lunch with you, you will spend part of the day game driving on the floor of the crater. Following you will exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and proceed towards Karatu to the Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge. Enjoy guided walks through the farm and coffee plantation.
