Upon Arrival at Hosea Kutako airport you will be met and greeted by your safari guide. Transfer to your accommodation in Windhoek.
Overnight: Galton House D
After a leisurely breakfast you will be collected by your guide and set off on your journey, which today takes you through the small town of Okahandja to Okonjima, situated at the foot of the Omboroko Mountains. Okonjima is also the home of the AfriCat Foundation. You visit the Okahandja Craft Market en-route and arrive at Okonjima Bush Camp in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent on one of the scheduled activities as organized by Okonjima, starting with leopard tracking and a visit to the night hide after dinner.

This morning is spent on another exciting activity before returning to the Bush Camp for brunch. You depart in your safari vehicle and head for the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park in the late morning. If time allows we may also visit Lake Otjikoto before arriving at Onguma Tented Camp in time for an exciting afternoon drive on the private Onguma Game Reserve returning to the camp in time for dinner. After dinner you have the option to join an exciting night drive on the Onguma Reserve.

Today is available for a full day of exciting game viewing within the eastern section of Etosha National Park. After discussion with your guide you can either opt to go into the Park in the morning and the afternoon and return to the Camp for lunch and an early afternoon rest; or you can head back west across to spend more time in the area around Halali; or you can head north past Fischer’s Pan and up into the Andoni Plains if you prefer. Either way, you will return to the comforts of Onguma Tented Camp before sunset.

Today is spent on an extended game drive from the eastern side of Etosha National Park to the southern boundary. You make your way across the park, having lunch en-route at one of the state owned resorts. You stop off at the famous Okaukuejo waterhole before exiting the park through the southern Andersson’s Gate. You then enter the Ongava Game Reserve which borders the southern boundary of the Park and go on to stay at the exquisite Ongava Lodge. The drive today can take you most of the day, depending on how much time is spent game viewing at the different waterholes along the way.

Today you will head south to the market town of Outjo before heading west to Mowani Mountain Camp, situated in the heart of Damaraland.You will have the opportunity to stop off to visit the Petrified Forest, along the way if this appeals, after going through the regional centre at Khorixas and continuing on to Mowani. If time allows this afternoon, your guide will take you to visit the nearby attractions and geological sites of Twyfelfontein rock engravings (recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes.

After an early breakfast you will be treated to an exciting 4×4 scenic excursion along the ephemeral Aba Huab and Huab River valleys to explore this remarkable region and to search for game, including the elusive desert adapted elephants if they are in the area. Damaraland is home to a variety of desert adapted wildlife and hidden desert treasures.
Overnight Mowani Mountain Camp BLD
After a leisurely breakfast your guide will drop you of at the Twyfelfontein airstrip, where you will board a scheduled scenic light aircraft to the NamibRand Nature Reserve. You will say good bye to your guide who will drive back to Windhoek today. You will land at Sossusvlei Desert Lodge’s airstrip where you will be met by a representative of the lodge who will transfer you to the lodge in time for lunch. For the afternoon you have the option of various activities in which to explore the NamibRand Nature Reserve.

This morning you will rise early for a magical excursion with your local guide into the Namib Naukluft National Park, entering the Park gates at sunrise to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft and shadows accentuate their towering shapes and curves. This area boasts some of the highest free-standing sand dunes in the world. Your local guide will give you an insight on the formation of the Namib Desert and its myriad of fascinating creatures and plants that have adapted to survive these harsh environs.
Overnight Sossusvlei Desert Lodge BLD
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred back to the local airstrip in time for your scheduled flight to the Windhoek International Airport. You will arrive on time to check in for your ongoing flight. B
