Described as the most beautiful mountain in Morocco, Mount Mgoun offers that rare opportunity to trek completely off the beaten track and experience a remote region which sees very few. This wonderful trekking holiday takes us deep into the cultural heart of the Berbers and the rewards are a wonderful sense of isolation and jaw dropping panoramas. After the colourful city of Marrakech we’ll camp on beautiful high pastures used by nomadic shepherds and hike through isolated villages nestled in breath taking valleys before standing on the summit of Mgoun (4071m). This enchanting peak offers one of the most captivating panoramas in the country, with views stretching from the mighty High Atlas to the stunning Sahara.
