Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1: ARRIVAL

As soon as the airplane lands, you’ll sense the beginning of the adventure. Our representative will be at the airport to greet you and escort you to the hotel. Savor the taste of hustle and bustle in Kathmandu, where everyone would seem busy but never too busy to greet you with smile. At evening, we will brief about the itinerary and permit and later we will go for nice dinner.

Day 2: FLY TO NEPALGUNJ

Soon after the breakfast, we move on to sightseeing areas to see the cultural beauty of Kathmandu. Although Kathmandu sightseeing requires more than just 1 day to observe all historic and important places, we only visit few of them today because we have to take a flight to Nepalgunj at afternoon. We take domestic flight for Nepalgunj.it takes almost an hour to reach there. Nepalgunj lies in western part of the Nepal. It’s the town near the Nepal-India border. Nepalgunj has a very hot and humid climate. Overnight at Nepalgunj.

DAY 3: FLY TO JUMLA AND TREK TO CHERE CHAUR

After the breakfast, we leave the Nepalgunj and move ahead towards the Jumla by domestic flight. Jumla is the largest upland town in the Karnali district. In Jumla we meet our crew who leads us for the Rara lake trek. Without wasting time we will trek to Chere chaur. It takes around 3.5 to 4 hours to reach our first day trek. Overnight at Chere chaur

DAY 4: TREK TO CHALACHAUR

After the first day of the trek at the Chere chaur we get going towards the Chala chaur. The trail passes through Jaljala and meanders around birch, pine forests and grassy pass. After walking for couple of hours we will reach the Chalachaur. Overnight at Chalachaur.

DAY 5: TREK TO SINJA VALLEY

On the 5th day, we cross the villages and walk along the Jaljala khola. We move towards the Sinja valley. Sinja valley is the historical place and was once the ancient capital of the Malla kings. There are stones lying along the trail that foretell the history of Malla dynasty. En route the trail passes the 300-year-old Kanaksundari temple. Overnight at Sinja valley.

Day 6: TREK TO GHOROSINGHA

We leave the historical place of Sinja valley and move towards to Ghorosingha. From the village, we climb on a steep trail for a while followed by a relatively easy trail until Laha village. From Laha, it is a steep climb up until Ghorosingha alongside Ghatte khola. Overnight in Ghorasingha.

Day 7: TREK TO RARA LAKE

We begin our trek towards Rara Lake in this day by walking away from the Ghorosingha and ascending the Ghurchi mara ridge for one and half hours. The trail is not as strenuous as it looks. We get to experience an excellent panorama to the north and wonderful beauty. As we walk we can see the Rara Lake in the northeast after some hours. On the way, we pass through khatyar khola camp and few villages. Then we move towards the Chapri village which is the head quarter of the Rara national park. Overnight at the Rara Lake.

Day 8: EXPLORE RARA LAKE

Today is the day we trekked all these days for. Rara is vastly beautiful and all the hard work is paid off upon reaching the Rara Lake. Rara area was designated a national park in 1975 and it takes about 8 hours to walk round the lake. We take a boat and enjoy the lake and surrounding. Overnight at the Rara Lake.

Day 9: TREK TO PINA

From Rara Lake it is only 8 kilometer to reach the pine. It is a short and Pleasant trek with fine views to the North. We walk on a relatively straight path until Gamgadhi. Gamagadhi is headquarter of the Mugu district. Overnight at the Pine village.

Day 10: TREK TO BUMRA

After having breakfast in the Pine village we descent along the trail and cross a few village and Ghurchi lagna. After passing this we will reach towards our today's destination at Bumara. Overnight at Bumra.

Day 11: TREK TO JUMLA

Today is the final day of our trek, we start trekking towards the Jumla. On the way, we cross two bridges above Hima River and walk downhill. After crossing this bridge we cross Danpha lagna. Finally, we reach Jumla and leave the walking part here and continue the further trip either on vehicle or flights.

Day12: FLY TO NEPALGUNJ, FLY TO KATHMANDU

At the early morning, we take flight from Jumla to Nepalgunj and say goodbye to Jumla from this trek. After reaching Nepalgunj we again take a flight for the Kathmandu in the same day it takes a couple of hours to reach Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 13: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

We go out of our way for the satisfaction of our clients and therefore as per your preference, we leave this day for you to do what you desire. We will then make necessary arrangement for the things that you prefer to do such as shop the souvenirs, herbal massage to relieve the pain, join the evening worship in Pashupatinath or may be exploring the city more.

Day 14: DEPARTURE

The day for your departure finally comes and therefore we will do as much as we can to make this day worth to be cherished. We will have a short coffee break and share the bitter sweet memories of the tour and if time allows we can even have a friendly lunch together. Soon after that you will be transferred to the airport where we will be giving you a farewell in our traditional style.
