Snorkel with harmless Leopard Sharks! During the summer season, we witness the mass migration of leopard sharks in La Jolla Shores. Typically they live in deeper water feeding off squid and shellfish but starting in July the pregnant females will swim to the warmer, shallower, calmer waters right of the beach in usually 5ft in water depth. This tour is great for beginners, minimum age is 5 years old but due to the nature of this tour, we require all participants to be comfortable swimmers. All require equipment is provided for you at our shop (wetsuits are optional)
