With this program you will visit an Ancient village of Duong Lam, culture and nature of Nghia Lo, beautiful rice terrace in Mu Cang Chai, tea plantation toward Sapa, hill tribe people in Sapa and surrounded area, local tribe market


 Day 1: Hanoi - Duong Lam Village - Nghia Lo

After breakfast, we will pick you up and depart for Nghia Lo. The schedule will be as follows:

Stopover in Duong Lam village (the birthplace of two kings: Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen). Take a walking tour, visit some old houses and then cycle around on the countryside roads to visit Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen Temples, Mia Pagoda for the study of a typically northern ancient village.

Lunch in an ancient house with the authentic Vietnamese food.

Take a scenic drive towards Nghia Lo. Several stops for photos are made at tea plantations, rice paddies or pay a short visit to the villages.

Arrive in the village in Nghia Lo where we spend the night. Check in with a local family. After your refreshments you will take a short walk around the village. Enjoy a cozy dinner with the family.

 Day 2: Nghia Lo - Mu Cang Chai (B/L/D)

We are up early for the sunrise. After breakfast, you will start the highlight of the trip which includes:

Cycle or walk around to visit minority ethnic groups such as White Thai, Black Thai, and H’mong then visit the hilltribe market for a study of their daily lives, culture, tradition, and customs.

The scenic drive toward Mu Cang Chai, including many stops at the beautiful sites and villages upon your request Your sightseeing day lasts until you arrive in Mu Cang Chai where you will spend the night in a hotel.

 Day 3: Mu Cang Chai - Sapa (B/L)

Another interesting day is awaiting you! After breakfast we will spend a full day driving north-west on the winding road with a stunning view of the rice terraces and the hill tribe villages among the verdant mountains and hills. Along the way the schedule will be as follows:

Visit the villages and the local markets

Take a very scenic drive among the rice terraces, verdant mountains and hills. Stop at the beautiful sites with plenty of photo opportunities

Continue to drive until you reach the top of the Heavenly Pass for a panoramic view of the spectacular valley. Afterwards arrive in Sapa in the late afternoon. Check into the hotel. The rest of the day is yours! Why not stroll around the city, go shopping or enjoy the amenities on offer at the hotel

 Day 4: Sapa Trekking (B/L)

Sa Pa is located at an elevation of about 1,500 meters among spectacular rolling hills in the northwestern Vietnam. A popular trekking base, it overlooks the terraced rice fields of the Muong Hoa Valley, and is near the 3,143m-tall Phang Xi Pang peak(also known as “the roof of Indochina”). Hill tribes, such as the Hmong, Tay and Dao, make up much of the town's local population.You can feel four seasons within a single day. After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and then enjoy another beautiful day which will go as follows:

Drive on the winding road with a beautiful view of the rice terraces. Make stops for photos upon your request. Drop you off at the starting point where you trek on the nice trail gradually descending to the villages 

Visit Lao Chai village of Black H'mong and Ta Van village of Dzay in Muong Hoa Valley with a stunning view of the rice terraces among the mountains and hills.

Enjoy a traditional foot massage after the trek. In the afternoon the car will collect you from the pick-up point and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Why not wander around the streets, make some interesting conversations with the locals or shop for some local hand-made products.

 Day 5: Sapa - Local Market - Hanoi (B)

The mountain markets in Vietnam are just open on certain days of the weeks. They are the destinations for not only the local business but also for social gatherings. You’ll witness the different local activities and various sections of local merchandises: agricultural products, clothes, dining area, barbers, animal market and so on. You will also see the local people with colorful clothes gather to talk, eat, drink, and date. Today, we will pick you up at the hotel to enjoy another interesting day which goes as follows: 

Drive about 3 hours on the winding road toward the market

Explore the local market to learn about the daily life

Visit Hmong King’s Palace

Visit Ban Pho village of Flower H’mong

Visit Na Hoi Village of Nung people Afterwards take a 5 hour drive and arrive at the hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to do as you wish! Relax and enjoy the facilities offered at your hotel or explore the surrounding area
