Today is fully reserved towards exploring the Ngorongoro Crater – arguably Africa’s most magnificent geological feature. Entering the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area, have your first glance of the magnificent natural amphitheatre below – The Ngorongoro Crater. We will then drive further to the Crater’s entry point and descend onto its floor for an afternoon game drive encased by its dramatic walls. Midday, we will pause for lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, before continuing on game drive.
Later in the afternoon, ascend the Crater wall and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A brief hop off the beaten track will take us to our lodge.

Day 3: Lake Ndutu
After a breakfast overlooking the caldera you will checkout further driving north to the heart of the South Serengeti, the world famous Lake Ndutu adjacent to Lake Masek and the Main Gorge at Olduvai.
Ndutu is strategically situated at the center of the southern plains which provides one of the best wildlife viewing especially during the green season. Since the 1960s, Ndutu has been used as a base for archaeological research. Including the Ndutu cranium found in 1973 dating 350,000 years ago. The skull has been viewed as an Homo Erectus however, embodies similarities of
an Homo Sapiens. After lunch continue your journey to the lodge.

Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner

Day 4:  Serengeti National Park
Today after breakfast you will spend a full day exploring North Serengeti heading out with boxed lunch.

Arguably the most magnificent natural journeys in the world, The Great Wildebeest Migration is an infinite cycle that is integral to the diverse ecosystem of the Serengeti savannah; especially as 85% of the migration occurs
in Tanzania’s Serengeti. The famed Masai Mara  river crossing, and not to forget, the lazy grazing – for the 2 million migrators it really is, the survival of the fittest.
For you however, it is an opportunity to witness the circle of life in action.

Day 6:  Fly to Zanzibar Island - Beach
Today, the safari portion of your trip has come to an end, however the beach will be awaiting you!
You will fly to Zanzibar to explore Stone Town. Arriving in Zanzibar you’ll be transfered you to the DoubleTree by Hilton Stone Town. This evening, be sure not to miss the quintessential Swahili Coast sunsets from Stone Town’s west facing shorelines as the Zanzibari Dhows gracefully glide back to harbour!
It may not have a particularly romantic name, but Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar, little changed in the last 200 years. One can spend many idle hours just exploring the fascinating labyrinth of
narrow streets and alleyways. Amongst the winding alleys, lie bustling bazaars, mosques and grand Arab houses, whose original owners vied with each other over the extravagance of their dwellings.
This one-upmanship is particularly reflected in the brass-studded, carved, wooden doors – there are more than 500 different examples of this handiwork throughout the city.
Accommodation: Double Tree Hilton or Similar Hotel
Meals included: breakfast and packed lunch only.
( dinner is not included - you can arrange at choice of restuarants )

Day 7 to 9: Zanzibar Beach
Today after breakfast and checking out at 09:00, spend the morning exploring the sights and sounds of Stone Town on a guided city tour. In the afternoon, around 14:00, you will be transferred to the resort on the island’s shores.
For the next two nights, enjoy some well deserved rest & relaxation along Matemwe Beach and allow yourself to get spoiled by the Swahili coast’s famed hospitality. Tranquil white beaches lapped by the Indian Ocean’s warm turquoise waters; hints of exotic spices wafting along the refreshing sea breeze; picturesque and humble fishing villages interspersed along its shores; extravagant alleys and bustling bazaars in its old town – such a melodic blend can only be found on The Spice Island.
It’s no wonder Zanzibar is the Swahili Coast’s heritage trading centre, one that has for centuries, been embraced with explorers and cultures from far and wide.
Accommodation: Mapenzi or Zanzibar Queen Beach Resort
Option: at extra cost
Visit the Sultan’s Palace, swim with dolphins, snorkelling or Zanzibar spice tour!
