There’s no better way to be introduced to the white water of Nepal than on this expedition.  Designed with beginners in mind, you’ll start slow before stepping out of your comfort zone!

Meet the team in the bustling capital city of Kathmandu where we will spend a few days exploring the sights of Kathmandu, learning about the culture, the history and meeting your guides and teammates you’ll be sharing this adventure with.  After exploring the sights of Kathmandu, it’s time to head to the rivers!

The Trisuli river is your first introduction to Nepal’s whitewater rafting scene.  This river is the home of commercial rafting and a great first-time river!  It’s here that you will go from flat water into your first lot of grade 2 and 3 white water rapids, a nice introduction to river expeditions.  We’ll spend two days on this river before moving on and testing our new paddling skills on the Lower Seti River.  Another overnight expedition, you’ll spend two days getting into the remote wilderness of Nepal via, the whitewater river.  The rapids won't be much higher than a grade 2 or 3 so you can enjoy the thrills as well as the sensational scenery, the peace and the wildlife.

From the relaxed rivers of the Trisuli and the Lower Seti it’s time to take on the mighty Kali Gandaki.  Filled with heart stopping grade 4 rapids, this three-day river expedition will be one of the wildest, most remote and greatest adventure of your life!  Our put-out point is on a beautiful emerald green stretch of flat water, so before we beach up there’s time to swim, relax or even steer the raft!

Saying goodbye to our river expeditions it’s time to head into the mountains of Nepal.  Sirubari is a small hamlet and a perfect spot for some rest and relaxation. Here, you will get to know the real Nepal.  The people will open up their homes, share their space, their food and their stories with you.  You’ll not just be a guest, you’ll soon be part of the family.  Enjoy time to relax or if you’re still feeling energetic, join us on a day hike to visit Hindu Yogis living high on the mountain above Sirubari in search of enlightenment.  At the top you’ll enjoy picturesque views over the Himalayan foothills and over the other villages nearby.  In the evening expect to be immersed in Nepali culture!  You’ll be the guest of honour at the cultural evening, filled with dancing, singing and laughs, you won’t be sitting down for long!

On leaving Sirubari, we leave in style, on foot!  Hiking up and over the saddle between two mountains we’ll descend down 1000 meters on the ‘stairway to heaven’ into the Andhi Khola valley.  The 4x4 jeeps will meet us at the bottom and we’ll enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned drive back to Pokhara.

The city of Pokhara is the gateway for hiking in Nepal but is also nestled around Fewa Lake and has a backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas.  It’s one of Nepal’s most picturesque cities and a great spot for shopping, relaxing and catching jaw dropping views of the mighty Himalaya.  Spend your day here exploring, relaxing or picking up last minute souvenirs!

Wrapping up our epic Nepal expedition and cultural experience we take our 4x4 jeeps back to Kathmandu where we will have a final dinner together, swap stories, memories and say emotional goodbyes.  Your time in Nepal may end here, but the memories will live on and we can guarantee, your lust for adventure has grown!
