The breath-taking archipelago of Lofoten islands in Norway is recognized by an extraordinarily dramatic landscape with small, authentic fishing villages situated just underneath the jagged peaks. This tour offers hikes that are less strenuous than our other Lofoten island hiking guided tours, and offer the perfect place for hikers and explorers, especially those seeking more remote, intimate experience with nature. On a weeklong journey travelling north to south across the fairy-tale archipelago we will experience:
A helicopter ride back to Bodø where our tour ends. This trip will give you the opportunity to explore secluded beaches, mountains and villages - and if the weather permits, we will experience the midnight sun from one of the best viewpoints there is. This trip includes days on the remote Værøy, and it is truly a special experience to live on an island so dramatic and isolated. The conditions can be rough in bad weather – but if you ask the 751 inhabitants, they will assure you it’s the most scenic island of Lofoten. From this island, you will see a bird’s eye view of the areas you have explored, on foot and by boat, from the air via helicopter back to Bodø.
