Day 7, On board

Train ride continues. A long train journey is a fine opportunity to relax and calm down. Read the favourite book, talk to fellow travellers and enjoy unique landscapes.

Planning your Trans Siberian railway holiday, we use the best Russian trains available. There is 1st class, 2-berth compartments with shower (2 showers per carriage, shared) and 2nd class, 4-berth compartment (no shower).

All passengers get a proper flat berth to sleep in, provided with all necessary bedding, convertible to a seat for day use. There are washrooms and toilets along the corridor.



Day 8, Explore Lake Baikal

Day 9, On board to Mongolia

Transfer to the train station to board our train to Mongolia. There is a change of timezones from Russia to Mongolia. Please note that you might be requested to present your luggage to the customs authorities. Visa check for the entire train can check a few hours, please be patient. Also worth to mention, that the Russian officials speak very little English, however, if you travel with our group, our tour manager will facilitate the communication.



Day 10, A glimpse of Mongolia
