Itinerary

Travel to Belize and get involved in genuine conservation efforts aimed to protect the sublime Belize Barrier Reef. Immerse in a vacation filled with conservation training, fish surveyal, diving sessions. Private island accommodation, hammock naps, and tasty meals, alongside private boat transfers, professional diving and research equipment and experienced instructors await you.

Day 1
Arrive in Placencia and get transferred to the island. You will check-in and receive an orientation tour of the island. You can enjoy leisure time and relax in the hammock with idyllic views or jump right away to diving and lionfish hunting. Meals included: lunch, dinner

Day 2
Enjoy your breakfast on the island and prepare for an extensive introduction in local fish identification, fish surveys and lionfish spearing. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 3
You will receive an introduction in corals and invertebrates, with comprehensive and explanatory indications provided by your instructors. You will learn how to identify and analyze marine wildlife, and get involved in lionfish spearing, the biggest threat to the luxuriant fauna and flora of Belize marine world. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 4
Explore the breathtaking marine world surrounding the island while you contribute to fish surveys and lionfish spearing. Feel free to dive up to 3 times and unwind on the 'castaway' location of the island. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 5
Enjoy an early breakfast and your last session of survey diving before your check-out and return to Placencia mainland. Meals included: breakfast
