Travel to Peru, hike and trek to conquer the heights of the Andes, explore wildlife and panoramic sceneries, and indulge in authentic Peruvian dishes. Enjoy nine days of intense hiking and trekking sessions with professional guides, complete with accommodation, delicious meals and refreshing drinks, Machu Picchu entrance, scenic train ride, and private transfers.

Day 1: You will be picked up from Cusco International Airport and transferred to your accommodation at Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel. Check-in will be followed by welcome drinks as you will be introduced to your guide and hiking fellows.

Day 2: Start your day with an early breakfast. At 8 a.m. you will be picked up from the hotel by car and start your gradual ascension into the Peruvian Andes. Along the way you will glimpse at the Condor Viewing Point at Chonta and wander through the Kuillarumiyoc or Tarahuasi archaeological sites. You will be transferred to Chonta where you will trek the narrow paths and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the majestic condors soaring over the Apurimac Canyon. You will be served boxed lunch in this special place. After returning to the car, your journey will continue until reaching Pincopata Ecocamp, your accommodation for the night. You will be welcomed with refreshing drinks. Take a rest or explore the surroundings of the comfortable domes.

Day 3: Enjoy your nutritious breakfast followed by a four-and-a-half-hour trek starting in Marcoccasa and reaching the impressive and untamed Rio Blanco Valley crowned by the snow-capped peaks Humantay and Salkantay Mountains. At the end of the trek you will arrive just in time for lunch at your accommodation for the night, Soray Ecocamp. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing in the unspoiled location based at 3,883 m / 12,737 ft altitude.

Day 4: After breakfast, engage in a challenging trek of the Salkantay Trail and cross the Salkantay Pass. You will achieve an elevation of 4,664 m / 15,300 ft and admire the southern side of rocky Mount Salkantay, covered in snow and surrounded by heavy clouds. A tasty picnic lunch will be served at the pass before you embark on your descent to Salkantay Valley. You will arrive at your next accommodation: Humantay Ecocamp in Huayracmachay.
