Day 1 : Antananarivo.
Meet the guide and transfer to the hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe
We have breakfast at the hotel and head south via Antananarivo. The typical highland villages and rice fields represent the landscape just after Antananarivo. We stop at Ambatolampy to discover the rather surprising work of aluminum in the manufacture of pots for the whole country. We're having lunch in town. Continue to Antsirabe in the afternoon.
Day 3: Antsirabe – Ranomafana
We continue on National Road 7 and proceed south. We turn left to reach Ranomafana in the Betsileo region, the main tribe south of the high plateaus of Madagascar. We have a winding road.
Day 4: Ranomafana
An early wake-up call will take you along the rainforest trails with park rangers to discover lemurs and various wildlife in their natural habitat.
Day 5: Ranomafana – Ambalavao
After breakfast, we continue the road. We head towards the old town of Fianarantsoa perched in the hills with its beautiful traditional architecture reflecting the different stages of colonization. We drive to Ambalavao. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Ambalavao – Tsaranoro
After breakfast, visit the reserve of Anja and paper antemoro artisanal. We continue the road to Tsaranoro (literally Noro is pretty).
Day 7: Tsaranoro
Andringitra is a granite massif with an area of 31160 ha. Hiking, trekking, climbing and panoramic views are among the interests of this National Park made possible by its 100 km of trails in its picturesque mountain landscape. The Tsaranoro Valley is a tourist site integrated into the National Park of Andringitra and named after the great cliff "Tsaranoro". This gigantic cliff is known worldwide for its climbers and adventurers. It is one of the most magical and tranquil places in Madagascar. There are also circuits that do not require much effort, such as the discovery of the forest and the villages, to finish with the ascent of the Mount Chameleon and its superb panoramic view.
Day 8: Tsaranoro – Ranohira
After breakfast, return to the national 7.You cross the largest plateau of Madagascar made up of a beautiful herbaceous steppe, surmounted by huge termite nests : this is the region of Ihorombe. We arrive in the village of Ranohira, near the Isalo massif and the entrance to the National Park.
Day 9: Ranohira
Together with a park guide, you will quietly put a small bag on your shoulder for a hike through surprising landscapes made up of canyons, swimming pools and rocks with magical erosions. Your day of walking in this spectacular setting begins in the morning with a visit with the natural pool lost in the middle of the immensity of the rocks ; it continues with a picnic (at your expense) near the waterfall of the Nymphs populated by lemurs and ends with the discovery of the black and blue pools.
Day 10: Ranohira-Ifaty
After breakfast, you leave Isalo for the coast at the edge of the Mozambique canal. The road unrolls its tar ribbon for 245 km and the vegetation of the South takes its place little by little in the landscape: baobabs, aloes, Euphorbiaceae... you will undoubtedly cross impressive herds of zebus and make a halt in the tombs of Mahafaly, astonishingly decorated and erected with wooden sculptures. On your arrival in Tulear, you will take a short tour of the city before taking the sand trail along the beach and mangrove to Ifaty and your hotel.
Days 11-12: Ifaty
These free days on the banks of the Mozambique canal will allow you to taste the various activities offered by your hotel. For those who want to enjoy the sea and the lagoon, diving, boat ride with the Vezo fishermen, bathing or just relax. Hiking enthusiasts can explore mangroves or go inland to discover a specific and unique vegetation made up of euphorbias, aloe, baobabs
Day 13: Ifaty - Tulear – Antananarivo
Free morning then transfer to the airport organized by us with the collaboration of the hotelier. Flight to the capital and transfer to the hotel.
Day 14: Antananarivo (international Flight)
Transfer to the airport for the international flight, can be passed to the artisanal market for souvenirs.
