  • Embark on an all women tour of Spiti Valley and experience the majestic Himalayas.
  • Start your trip from Delhi at around 08:00 AM with a car ride to Manali.
  • In this trip you will get a chance to explore Manali, Kaza, Rohtang pass, Kunzum La, Kye monastery, Tashigang and Gette.
  • Komik, Langza, Chandrataal lake, Batal and Chattru are other major attractions to visit during the trip.
  • This is a 9 day 8 night trip which ends with a drop to Delhi.

Day 1 -

 

Begin your incredible journey from New Delhi in the morning around 08:00 AM from where you will be travelling in an Innova car.

By late evening you will reach Manali, one of the most famous hill stations in India. This journey will take almost 10 hours.

Enjoy an overnight stay in a hotel in Manali.

 

Day 2 -

 

 

Spend the whole day exploring Manali, the market and other prominent places around.

Enjoy the beauty of mountains that surround Manali, relish in a comfortable hotel stay at night.

 

Day 3 -

 

 

Get driven to Kaza from Manali in the morning, pass through Rohtang pass first.

Then cross Kunzum pass also, pay tributes to Kunzum Mata en route.

Take a halt for lunch along the way and reach the capital of Spiti in Kaza by late evening, relax in a hotel there.

The total time you travel will be 10 hours.

 

Day 4 -

 

 

Begin your day with a drive to Tabo from Kaza, it is a monatsery and a world heritage site too where you can see the stunning pictures of Buddha.

Then get transferred to Dhankar village; it offers you a panoramic view of the valley and the village is famous for its 1200 year old monastery.

Commence your trek to Dhankar lake which takes around 40 minutes to reach and get back to Kaza for your overnight stay.

Enjoy a momo making class after reaching Kaza.

The total time you have to travel today is 6 hours approximately.

 

Day 5 -

 

 

Commence your drive from Kaza to Kye monastery, it is a 1000 year old monastery and the largest one overlooking the Spiti river.

Enjoy the drive to Tashigang and Getter; get a chance to ride the Chichum Jhoola (a pulley attached at both ends of a valley with a basket carrying people).

Relish in the local village sights and later in the afternoon enjoy delving into the Spitian culture and then reach Kibber where you spend your night in a home stay.

Taste a delicious organic home food for dinner.

 

Day 6 -

 

 

Visit Komik, a beautiful monastery overlooking the village and descend toward Langza.

Also enjoy a yak ride which is an optional activity for the day.

Reach Kaza after an alcohol tasting session and spend your night in the hotel after a ride for 6 hours.

 

Day 7 -

 

 

Drive for 7 hours approximately to reach Chandrataal lake; but learn tractor ride before you go to visit the lake.

Take a halt for lunch at Losar, get driven along Kunzum la pass that connects the Lahaul and Spiti valley.

Pay tribute to Kunzum Mata en route and finally reach Chadrataal lake which is at an altitude of 4300 meters above sea level.

Enjoy camping near the lake with the accompaniment of plenty of stars in the sky.

 

Day 8 -

 

 

Leave Chadrataal lake early to go to Manali. On the way take a halt at Batal for tea and then cross the famous Rohtang pass.

Watch the landscape and get back to Manali by late evening to spend your night in a hotel.

The total time for this journey would be about 6 to 7 hours.

 

Day 9 -

 

 

Start your journey around 04:00 AM and then reach New Delhi around 06:00 PM approximately and your tour ends there.

The journey will take 14 hours at the maximum.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) can occur to anyone at an altitude above 10,000 feet – which is the average elevation of Spiti Valley. The experienced staff will handle travellers who suffer from AMS.
The tour operates in a batch of 6 or multiple of 6 people.
This is a group tour
If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees
If cancellations are made 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.
