The village of Sari, about 7 hours from Rishikesh, houses the famous lake of Deoria Tal and is a base camp for several short and long hikes as it offers unparalleled views of Himalayan peaks such as Neelkanth and Kedar. As you cross Chopta, pass by a beautiful route filled with lush green meadows and the blooms of rhododendron. Seek the blessings at the Tungnath Temple of the Panch Kedar in Rudraprayag and ultimately open up to the views of Chandrashila peak (4,130m), that offers dramatic views of the valleys below.
About the Activity:
Start trekking in Rishikesh towards Chandrashila Peak and meander through many picturesque villages and dreamy valleys. The trails remain easy with a gradual incline to reach to the fantastic scenery at Deoria Tal.
Progressing to Chopta, you will be going through meadows and dense forests, to reach the fabulous campsite that offers dreamlike views all around. Biking down to Syalsour, we give a thunderous finale to this expedition by river rafting in Rishikesh.
Your adventure begins with a drive to Rishikesh to the start point of your trek, Sari Village, from where you will be trekking to Deoria Tal. During this 1-hour trek you will notice a great variety of birds and different species of plants. The highlight of this trip is viewing the majesty of the Himalayan peaks such as Choukhamba, Kedar, Neelkanth and Kirti Stambh and the pristine Deoria Tal Lake; overnight at the campsite
Following a hearty breakfast, you will start walking towards Chopta, which is at a distance of 12km. The trail is a gentle climb via the lush green meadows of Madhmaheswar and through the forests covered with Rhododendron. If you’re lucky, you could spot a few species of wildlife. After a climb to about 3,000m, you will reach the charming village of Chopta ,overnight camping here.
The day brings with it a sense of excitement and happiness as today you set enroute the Chandrashila Peak. Pass Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world and one among the Panch Kedar. On reaching the Chandrashila peak, situated at 4,130m, you stand to witness to a plethora of breathtaking panoramic sights of the Garhwal Himalayas, especially the Nanda Devi, Trisul, Dunagiri, Hathi Parvat, Neelkanth, Choukhamba and Gangotri peaks! You will then descend back to Chopta for overnight camping.
Embark on the thrilling downhill ride on your MOUNTAIN BIKES towards Syalsour! Watch the ethereal alpine forests whoosh past you! On arrival start on 6-hour drive back to Rishikesh. Overnight in camps at Kaudiyala.
Pump up your adrenaline and prepare for an eventful, thrilling day of river rafting starting with a half hour trip to Marine Drive. Be briefed about all the safety instructions and after receiving your rafting equipment, take on the rapids River Ganga! Cross the Three Blind Mice, Return to Sender, Golf Course and Club House ultimately reaching NIM Beach. Return to the guesthouse, and let the adventure meet you again in your dreams!

Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
Pay heed to the tour leaders or instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound experience.
Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
Avoid trekking during the nights.
Carry basic medications and first-aid kit during the tour.
The tour takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites.
While visiting the temples, do obey proper dress-code and do not hurt the local sentiments of the places.
If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.
