Your chance to
Enjoy fantastic rock pool jumping in deep canyons
At a glance
7 nights at the family-run Hotel Torrecerredo
The Picos de Europa is Spain's first National Park; it forms the apex of the Cordillera Cantabrica, which runs the entire length of Spain's northern coast. The highest point, the summit of the Torrecerredo (2648m), crowns these spectacular limestone peaks, which are visually very dramatic despite being only the third highest mountain range in Spain after the Pyrenees and the Sierra Nevada. With lush valleys, fresh rivers, deep rocky gorges, huge cave systems and cliffs that have long been a Mecca for climbers, this area provides the perfect location for an active holiday for groups of all ages. The adrenaline powered activities range from canoeing along the fresh waters of the Sella river to rock pool jumping in deep canyons. This exciting mixed activity week is organised by our local activity guru, Jim Thomson and his partner Pilar, who pass on their expertise wherever possible. Previous experience is not required as full instruction will be given, but those who have tried any particular activity before will not be bored, as different levels can be accommodated.
