Your chance to
Discover an authentic Greek island
At a glance
7 nights 2-star hotel with en suite rooms and views of the Aegean Sea
Walks on a traditional Greek island
The delightful island of Evia is a real hidden treasure, with old stone paths connecting quaint villages tucked away on the slopes of the mountains. This walkers’ paradise is little known outside of Greece and offers unique history and culture, an authentic atmosphere and the hospitality of the local towns and villages. We enjoy five daywalks on the island, taking in the wonderful scenery. A walk down the famous Dimosaris Gorge is perhaps the highlight of the week, ending at the coastal village of Kalliani. Traditional tavernas and waterfront ouzo-meze shops make eating and drinking here a wonderful experience.

Interesting facts
The best trekking and climbing routs in Greece - Mount Olympus

Who of us, when reading the Greek myths, would not dream to see the mountain awing the ancient Greeks? Even these days Mytikas’s (Mount Olympus’s modern name) peak can be rarely seen as it is almost always hidden behind the dense clouds. Due to this reason, the ancient people believed Mount Olympus to be the place of residence of Gods, unreachable and invisible to human. Mytikas means "nose" and takes the name from its shape reminding of a human’s nose. Every proud-hearted Greek should at least once ascend the mountain; it is almost a duty, an unwritten rule, so to say, and numerous Greeks, sometimes in big groups, often ascend the mountains without wearing any special shoes or helmets.
