About Deorital Chandrashali weekend trekDeoriatal Chandrashila trek is one of the most beautiful short and easy trek in garhwal Himalaya that will take you through picturesque small villages, sprawling Himalayan meadows, thick and sky touching forest of conifers, silver lining like rivulet in the backdrop of mighty Himalayan peaks like Chowkhamba. The trek starts from Sari village and ends at Chopta village Detail itinerary of Deoriatal Chandrashila trek1st Day: Rishikesh to Deoria tal (6-7 hours journey)Today you will drive from haridwar/Rishikesh to Sari village. Sari is a beautiful village which serves as the starting point of Deoriatal Chandrashila trek. It is a 200 km distance to be covered by car and will take approx. 6-7 hours. Deoriatal trek will start from here. It is a 2.5 km trek from Sari to Deoriatal. We will set our camp at Deoriatal in a beautiful permanent campsite.2nd Day: Deoria tal to Chopta (2.5 km downhill trek, 20 km motor) – Tungnath -Chandrashila and back to Chopta (10 km trek)Today after breakfast will go for 2.5 km downhill trek and then approx. 20 km drive to reach Tunganath- Chandrashila. After exploring Tunganath and Chandrashila peak will start our return trek to Chopta. After approx. 10 km of return trek you will reach Chopta campsite.
