All year (except April/May during long rains)
Getting to the Kenya coastline is very easy from all the major reserves in Kenya like the Masai Mara and Samburu. You will have to fly via Wilson airport to Diani Airport and from there it’s a 45-minute transfer to The Ocean Spa Lodge in Msambweni.
The Ocean Spa Lodge comprises 14 suites divided between 6 villas. All the suites offer complete privacy as well as breathtaking views of the ocean. In front of the villas is a large infinity pool and dotted around the hotel are several places to relax and unwind and get on with your editing.
The food at The Ocean Spa Lodge is exceptional with a mixture of great seafood, local Kenya coastline specialities.
All the rooms have a good electricity supply and air conditioning and should you want to take a break from your editing there is a world class spa to needle out those knots and tight muscles developed on your game drives. Nearby is some excellent snorkelling and diving should that appeal.
We know that this is not your average photo safari package but we always have to remember that this is also your holiday so why not spoil yourself a little bit at the end. All too often we get home and straight back into the rat race and the images we have captured languish on our hard drives so taking a few days to relax, review and edit in such a beautiful location is time well spent indeed.
