Join climber and disabilities advocate Paul Pritchard on an incredible journey along Tasmania’s wild coastline, trekking with him on his annual pilgrimage back to the Totem Pole. This 4 day tour encompasses a variety of walks through the spectacular Freycinet National Park on the East Coast of Tasmania and the nearby Douglas Apsley National Park. We discover the pristine beauty of secluded bays, white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and visit highlights such as Wineglass Bay & the isolated Friendly Beaches. During our day walks you will only be required to carry a small day pack (containing your lunch, wet weather gear, camera etc) and in the evenings we will return to comfortable, simply appointed cabins in the village of Coles Bay or surrounding towns on the edge of the Freycinet National Park.Paul's climbing career took a dramatic turn 18 years ago when he was hit by a falling boulder and partially paralysed while climbing the Totem Pole. His incredible and inspirational story was portrayed on ABC's Australian Story and in the award-winning film, Doing it Scared. Paul’s never-waning desire for adventure will awaken your soul, giving you a fresh perspective to see life’s journey with renewed focus and passion.
