Heading east, we make our way via the village of Gweta to the Makgadikgadi Pans. We'll stop off at Chapman's Baobabs along the way - the famed 'seven sisters' that watch over the pans like sentinels.Day 7. Makgadikgadi Pans to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Leaving the pans we head back north to Kasane and the border to Zimbabwe where, after border formalities, we continue back to Victoria Falls.Day 8. Victoria Falls Highlights. Victoria Falls National Park.
Immerse yourself in the Zimbabwe culture with a full day in the Victoria Falls area. We visit Victoria Falls National Park and then browse the local curio market before spending an afternoon at the Chamobondo primary school where we will interact with students and learn more about the Zimbabwe educational system from the teachers. From the school we go to a local restaurant for a traditional African lunch, before finishing our tour with a visit to an orphanage. We end our day joining a peaceful sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. 2 images Victoria Falls National ParkDay 9. Victoria Falls
Tour ends after breakfast today. We do, however, recommend that you spend a few extra days to explore the Victoria Falls area. The Zambezi boasts one of the world’s highest rated rivers for pure white water river rafting through its many challenging and novice rapids.
